Greeting from the DE&I Committee Chair

The Panhellenic DE&I committee aims to educate all members of our community on the differences between each other and the UNC community at large and ensure that those differences are respected in everything we do. We strive to create an inclusive environment by celebrating the experiences and strengths that our members bring to our community in order to foster a healthy and safe space to grow in ourselves and our friendships.

The committee works alongside the Panhellenic Executive Council to discuss and propose changes to our operations for the betterment of all of our members. Through collaboration with diverse organizations, philanthropic events across the governing bodies, and training sessions both during recruitment and year-round, we work to learn from our past and realize a brighter future.

It is our goal for every student that hopes to be a part of the Panhellenic community to find a home here and feel uplifted by those around them. If a situation arises in which you experience any instance of bias or discrimination, we ask that you report it to the committee so that we may address the issue as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

THE unc panhellenic council is committed to creating a more inclusive environment for all.

The UNC Panhellenic Council is devoted to creating a more welcoming and inclusive Panhellenic community. We recognize historically our organization and our chapters have been comprised of almost exclusively white women. This committee will address the racial, economic, and social injustices, and the overall lack of diversity, in our community. This committee acts as an extension of the Panhellenic Executive Board and will empower Panhellenic women.
